Job Description

Goodsides is seeking an Experienced Videographer with 10+ years of professional experience to collaborate on various contract-based projects within San Diego County. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in working with nonprofits, healthcare providers, educational institutions, or public agencies. A passion for community-focused, impactful projects is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Goodsides team to film high-quality video content for a variety of projects, including healthcare campaigns, educational tutorials, and public agency initiatives.
• Capture dynamic footage that aligns with client goals and our commitment to impactful storytelling.
• Work closely with clients to ensure their vision is effectively portrayed through videography.
• Meet project deadlines and deliver professional video assets on time.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, adhering to strict production schedules.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a professional videographer.
• Preferred experience working with nonprofits, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, or public agencies.
• Proven ability to handle all aspects of video production, including camera operation, lighting, and sound.
• Strong passion for working on community-focused and meaningful projects.
• Must own and maintain professional-grade equipment (cameras, lighting, audio, etc.).
• Must carry insurance coverage for videography services.
• Experience working as an independent contractor with a history of reliability and professionalism.
• Familiarity with San Diego County and ability to travel throughout the region for shoots.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
• FAA-certified drone pilot or experience with aerial videography.
• Strong storytelling abilities with a focus on delivering community-driven content.
